• “A Rose for Emily” by William Faulkner

    The Author:
     William Cuthbert Faulkner born in (Septemper,25,1897-July6,1962). He was  An  American Author ,one of the most influential writers of the twentieth century ,he was awarded the 1949Nobel prize in literature .His reputation is based on his Novels, Novellas and short stories. However, he was also published poet and occasional screen writer, Most of the Faulkner's works are set in his native state of Mississippi, and he is considered of most important south writers. 
    
    plot:
    Arose for Emily is a story written by William Faulkner and takes place in Jefferson in the early 1900. Itfocuses on the life of Emily who was controlled by her father .After the death of her father ,Emily had the chance to have aromatic relationship with Homer Barron, the Yankee road worker. As she was not seen so often in the town ,people used to gossip  a lot about Emily and her relation ship with the Yankee, especially after she bought the rate poison thinking that she will commit suicide after Homer had left her .After her death, Emily left behind two things, house full of dust and the body of the person she loved lying in  a bedroom with the gray hair on the pillow next him.
